AirAsia India, the Indian arm of the Malaysian no-frills airline headed by Tony Fernandes, is the fourth budget carrier in the country -- after IndiGo, SpiceJet
and GoAir.
AirAsia India had taken passengers by a surprise when it announced tickets for its maiden flight at just Rs 990. The tickets had sold out in just 10 minutes.
