Over the Republic Day weekend, Siddharth Anand delivered yet another blockbuster hit film titled Fighter, exactly one year after the release of Pathaan. The film has garnered immense success at the box office and captured the hearts of audiences worldwide. Among the numerous viewers and celebrities expressing their admiration for the film, Indian badminton star PV Sindhu’s review has particularly caught attention.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, PV Sindhu showered praise on the film’s team, with special mention for Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone’s performances. She expressed her delight and conveyed how impressed she was with the movie. Notably, when Deepika came across Sindhu’s post, she promptly acknowledged the badminton sensation’s kind words for the film.

Sharing the intriguing poster of the film featuring Hrithik and Deepika, PV Sindhu couldn’t contain her excitement and praised the gripping performances of the lead cast members. She expressed her admiration, stating, “What a movie. Hrithik and Deepika just uff. Anil sir, just timeless,” accompanied by three red heart emojis. Soon after when Deepika noticed Sindhu’s review, she responded with gratitude. Resharing her post, the actress wrote, “Love you,” along with red heart emojis.

Fighter, directed and co-written by Siddharth Anand and Ramon Chibb, marks the first instalment in a planned aerial action franchise. The star-studded cast includes Hrithik Roshan as Shamsher Pathania (Patty), Deepika Padukone as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore (Minni) and Anil Kapoor as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh (Rocky). Apart from the three lead cast, the movie also features Karan Singh Grover as Squadron Leader Sartaj Gill (Taj), Akshay Oberoi as Squadron Leader Basheer Khan, Rishabh Sawhney as Azhar Akhtar, Sanjeeda Sheikh as Saanchi Gill, Ashutosh Rana as Abhijeet Rathore, Geeta Agrawal as Usha Rathore, Talat Aziz as Patty’s father, Sharib Hashmi as Wing Commander Varthaman and several other talented actors.

Released on January 25, the movie quickly secured its place in the Rs 100 Crore club within just three days of its release. Impressively, the movie has now surpassed the Rs 200 crore milestone. As per Sacnilk’s report, the movie has earned over Rs 140 crore in the Indian box office, while the overseas collection is more than Rs 61 crore.
