Holi is a festival of colours and every year it is celebrated with great zeal and pomp in the country during March. Whenever the festival is celebrated, Bollywood celebs leave no stone turned to extend heartfelt wishes to their fans and share glimpses from their Holi celebrations with their family members. This year, Holi was celebrated on March 25. Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu opted for a low-key yet super-friendly Holi this time as she celebrated the festivities with her ‘special’ friends.
Taking to Instagram, Samantha on Monday shared a glimpse of her holi celebrations with her two cute pups Hash and Sasha at her residence. She shared a video of her stories in which she could be seen joyfully engaging with her pets. The Kushi actor is seen donning a black tank top and shorts and tied her hair into a casual bun.
The actor added a musical touch to the beautiful moment which enhanced the mood of the video. She has a deep connection with her furry companions.
On the work front, Samantha gained a lot of popularity for her performance in the web series The Family Season 2 in which she was seen alongside Manoj Bajpayee. Helmed by Raj and DK the series streamed on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video.
She will be next seen in an upcoming action thriller series Citadel: Hunny Bunny co-starring actor Varun Dhawan. The series is directed by Raj and DK and will stream on Prime Video. However, the official release date of the series is still awaited.
Apart from that, as per reports Samantha might also be seen in an extended cameo role in Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa 2: The Rule.
Reportedly, director Sukumar wants a special song featuring Samantha at the end of Pushpa 2 which might get extended to the third part of the film. Earlier, she received a lot of praise for her item number Oo Antava in the film Pushpa: The Rise.
Just like Samantha, her Kushi co-star Vijay Deverakonda also celebrated this year’s Holi with his pet dog. He shared a picture with his cute pet, a Siberian Husky named Storm Deverkonda, on Instagram and wrote, “We dressed in white for Happy Holiii :).”
