Dabboo Ratnani Reveals Hrithik Roshan Hid His Identity During First Photoshoot: ‘I Didn’t Even…’

Hrithik Roshan is gearing up for his next release Fighter. The action thriller has created a lot of buzz after the trailer was released. Well, ahead of the film release, celebrity photographer Dabboo Ratnani shared a fascinating revelation about Hrithik Roshan’s first photoshoot, disclosing that the actor went to great lengths to keep his identity hidden during the session.

In a candid interview with Siddharth Kannan, Dabboo Ratnani reminisced about the early days of his collaboration with Hrithik Roshan, stating, ” I didn’t even know he was Rakesh Roshan’s son. He didn’t tell me, he told me his name was Hrithik and that’s it. The way he was posing! The confidence, and expression he was giving for the first portfolio of his life, I was blown away! When I told him he was too good he was very happy!” When the shoot was over, Dabboo informed Hrithik that he usually takes two days to process the images but the actor was impatient. Dabboo recalled how Hrithik needed those images “urgently”.

On calling the photo lab, Dabboo was informed that the earliest they could give the pictures was the next day. So on that day, the Fighter star along with the photographer went to the lab to get the pictures. The photographer recalled getting a call from Rakesh Roshan appreciating the pictures and it was then that he realized Hrithik was his son. The actor revealed that he did not disclose his identity because he did not want to create any pressure on the photographer.

Talking about Fighter, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone play Airforce Officers in Siddharth Anand’s aerial action film. This will be Hrithik and Deepika’s first collaboration. They will star as Air Force officers Patty and Minni, taking on missions and performing high-octane stunts. The film promises to bring a power-packed action spectacle that has never been seen before on the big screen. The trailer features Top Gun-style action with Deepika and Hrithik in their aircraft. It starts with Anil Kapoor assembling a skilled team of IAF officers to avenge India after “the deadliest ever attack”. He brings together the “top aviators” to show the terrorists responsible for the attack that Indians will not sit quietly by.
