Rishabh Pant on Tuesday celebrated his 26th birthday at the National Cricket Academy on Tuesday. He has been recovering from multiple injuries suffered in a crash last year in December. He has been away from action since then and has been working on his comeback under the watchful eyes of trainers at the NCA.
On Tuesday, he cut his birthday cakes with fellow Indian and Delhi Capitals cricketers, Prithvi Shaw and Axar Patel, and a few NCA staff, including Nitin Patel, former Team India physiotherapist. As birthdays are celebrated in the Indian dressing room, Axar and Prithvi followed the same way and smeared the cake all over Pant’s face.
The video of the celebrations was shared on the Instagram handle of Delhi Capitals (DC). “Birthday rituals that make us go,” the caption of the video read.
