Dhruva Sarja Plans To Celebrate Birthday By Watching His Brother’s Movie Rajamarthanda

After the untimely and shocking demise of Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja in 2020 due to a cardiac arrest at the age of 39, his final movie, Rajamarthanda, is set to see the light of day. This poignant release is scheduled for October 6, coinciding with his brother Dhruva Sarja’s birthday. Notably, it was Dhruva who completed the pending dubbing work for his late brother’s film, making it a heartfelt tribute to Chiranjeevi Sarja’s memory.

Dhruva Sarja revealed his birthday plans by sharing that he plans to celebrate the special day by watching the movie of his brother with his fans on the first day, the first show. He also requested his fans to turn up to the theatres and shower the movie with some love to celebrate his brother’s work. Dhruva Sarja has also been actively promoting the movie Rajamarthanda and creating hype amongst fans.

Rajamarthanda is helmed by director K Ramnarayan, who in an interview revealed how challenging it was for the team to promote and release the movie without the actor’s presence. He said, “While we reconnect with the actor through this film, people are fondly remembering Chiranjeevi Sarja.”

A few weeks ago, Dhruva Sarja also shared a small snippet, where he could be seen missing his brother, Chiranjeevi Sarja. The caption read, “Love you, bro.” Fans too commented on the post and said, “We miss you, Chiru Anna.” One of the comments read, “So many emotions.”

Reportedly, the shoot for the movie Rajamarthanda began in late 2016. But Chiranjeevi joined in a year later. As per reports, Chiranjeevi was extremely inspired by his brother’s works and wanted impactful dialogues in his movie. Hence, the script was enhanced with old Kannada dialects. The director in an interview revealed that he was able to retain the actor’s original voice in one scene. As per the information available, Chiranjeevi’s son Raayan will also make a special appearance in the movie.

Rajamarthanda is produced by Shivakumar under the banner of Madeshwara Production. The movie will star Deepthi Sati and Bhajarangi Loki in lead roles. The cast also features Vineeth Kumar, Chikkanna, Devaraj, Sumitra, Shankar Aswath and Umesh Karanji in key roles.
