This much-awaited Triumph Trident 660 will be made available in four colour options including, Silver Ice and Diablo Red, Matt Jet Black and Matt Silver Ice, Crystal White, and Sapphire Black.

There seems to be some great news for motorcycle enthusiasts in India. The all-new Triumph Trident 660 is soon going to see an India launch. The brand took to their social media to make the big announcement. The exact date of entry-level middleweight two wheeler has not been revealed yet, but it is believed that the same will soon be announced. The company shared a small clip which has the text, ‘“The Trident 660 Launches Soon in India". India Triumph page even asked netizens to guess the date of the launch.

The Triumph Trident 660 comes equipped with a 41mm USD Showa separate function forks at the front and Showa monoshock RSU along with preload adjustment for suspension. It is no brainer that a powerful motorcycle needs powerful brakes too. As a result Nissin two-piston sliding calipers along with twin 310mm floating discs up-front and Nissin single-piston sliding caliper with a single 255mm rotor at the back will take care of the braking system.

Further there are a couple of exclusive features that this bike offers, some of which include, two riding modes (Road and Rain), full-digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, traction control, round LED headlamp, and single-pod.

If a report published in Indian Autos Blog is to be believed, then the two wheeler will be priced less than Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom). Those interested in purchasing the machine can book it by paying a token amount of Rs 50,000. The Triumph Trident 660 runs on a 660cc inline 3-cylinder engine which is capable of producing 81hp of maximum power and 64Nm of peak torque. Interestingly, the British motorcycle maker has also claimed that the two wheeler is a home to 67 new components.
