After making everyone drool over its unique design and comfort, the MG Windsor again stuns everyone after it received a total of 15,176 bookings in just 2024 hours. These numbers have been shared by the brand.
The above numbers somehow suggest that the car is getting an overwhelming response from the customers. It was launched in India at the starting price of Rs 13.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Price and Battery Rental Program
The company listed the EV under its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program. This initiative by MG allows the customers to pay only for the car, while the battery cost is not included as it comes under a monthly subscription basis at Rs 3.5 per km.
Range and Power
Under the hood, the Windsor EV is equipped with a 38 kWh battery, paired with an electric motor that generates a maximum output of 134 bhp and 200 Nm. It has been claimed by the brand that the setup is capable of providing an impressive range of 332 km on a single charge.
The vehicle offers four driving modes – Eco+, Eco, Normal and Sport, catering to different terrains and offers required power. It supports DC fast charging, which hardly takes 45 minutes to make it fully charge.

Talking about some notable elements from inside, it gets a segment’s first Aero-Lounge seats for rear passengers, 2 spoke multi-functional steering wheel, a fully digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, an Infinity View glass roof, a powered tailgate, and whatnot. The cabin is also treated with a robust 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which supports all the wireless car connect technology.
