Jaguar is gearing up to introduce an ultra-premium grand tourer EV. It is likely to hit the market at the staring price of 125,000 dollars (roughly Rs 1.4 Cr).

The premium car manufacturer Jaguar, best known for its luxuries and high-performance cars, has no plans for new launches the entire year. It has been reported that the company is gearing up to add a brand-new electric vehicle to the fleet, which will be unveiled soon.

The upcoming EV will hit the market as an ultra-premium grand tourer, which will not go on sale before 2026. The gap in the entire time frame is expected to be not filled by any new car. However, the company has not shared or hinted at any official details about the same as yet.

Complete EV Route?

The company has not even revealed when it will kickstart the production of the upcoming pure electric car. The report says, once arrives, it will be Jaguar’s one of the most powerful models in their entire lineup, generating massive power and will offer impressive range.

Discontinued Models

Meanwhile, the top carmaker has already shared plans to cut off a few models from its range. The list includes e-E-Pace and I-Pace, while some of them are already discontinued including e XE, XF and F-Type.

Future of F-Pace

Amid this, the company will continue to sell the tech-loaded model  F-Pace SUV. It might be shifted to the list of discontinued models by 2025, but it will remain in the fleet for some time.
