But for everyone, there is always that one first car that is close to theirheart. Fiat was one of the first international brands to open a store in India, despite the market being crowded with excellent local brands.
One of the first vehicles offered in the Indian market was the Fiat 1100, which quickly led to the Italian carmaker’s rise to fame. The car’s design attracted eyeballs and became a status symbol for many. Several enthusiasts continue to maintain the Fiat 1100 in excellent shape.
Surprisingly, a few veteran actors who began using automobiles still own their first vehicles, which are now considered vintage. The Fiat 1100 is used by Jackie Shroff, Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan and Rajnikanth. Read on to know about these actor’s love for the Fiat 1100 car:
Amitabh Bachchan
Bollywood’s Big B is well known for his impressive collection of automobiles, which includes everything from a Bentley Continental GT to a Rolls-Royce. Amitabh Bachchan’s first car, however, was a second-hand Fiat 1100, which he purchased following the success of his debut film, Saat Hindustani. The engine in this iconic car ranged from 1089cc to 1221cc.
Jackie Shroff
According to reports, Jackie Shroff recently purchased a Fiat 1100. He may have purchased a restored model or restored his own car. Unfortunately, we were unable to confirm the vehicle’s ownership or origin. He recently arrived at an event in the new Fiat 1100, but Jackie was in the co-driver seat and not driving.The car appears to be in excellent condition, with a fully restored interior. It could also have been resto-modified with a number of modern features.

Dharmendra
Earlier this year, veteran actor Dharmendra shared a video of his first car, a Fiat 1100, which he purchased in 1960 and has been with him ever since. He stated that he has had the car for 60 years and purchased it for only Rs 18,000. Dharmendra previously stated in an interview that he never sold the car because he feared losing his job and then being able to use the same car as a taxi.

Rajinikanth
Rajnikanth, who lives a modest life, just recently moved up from his modest Innova to a luxurious SUV. Rajinikanth’s first car was a white Premier Padmini purchased in the 1980s. The vehicle is considered a classic and is powered by a 1.1-liter engine. It is currently quite rare in the country. Despite owning some of the most luxurious cars in the world, Rajinikanth still owns the car and considers it his most prized possession.
