2021 Bajaj Pulsar 220F Spotted With New Colours, to be Launched in India Soon

Bajaj Auto is in the process of updating its bestselling Pulsar range,after the new Pulsar 150 and 180 received fresh cosmetic updates. The latest to join the bandwagon is the eldest sibling Pulsar 220F, which has been spotted in new shades.

The Pulsar 150 and 180 with updated colour schemes will be reaching dealerships and official launch is expected soon. It is likely that 2021 Pulsar model’s prices may be increased slightly, and these details will be announced by the company at the time of launch.

Pulsar 220F is one of the bestsellers in its class and is currently available in colour options of Black Blue and Black Red. However, the 2021 Pulsar 220F will be introduced in two new colour schemes – a fresh Moonwhite and a matte black colour option. On the Moonwhite shade, the tank, semi fairing, rear cowl and engine underbelly all get matte white base paint. It is complemented by black and red colour graphics,while the front mudguard gets a glossy black colour with a carbon fibre finish. Additionally, the side cowl,which probably looks slightly out of place, gets a glossy carbon fibre finish. Meanwhile, black coloured alloy wheels come with contrast red coloured rim stripes. It also sports a newly styled ‘220-F’ logo on the rear cowl, while the exhaust and engine also gets a black finish.

Whereas, black colour replaces white in the new matte black paint job. The 2021 220F also gets a combination of matte and gloss black colours, with red accents on the body as well as the alloy wheels.

2021 Bajaj Pulsar 220F’s engine remains unchanged as it continues to use the old engine. The 220cc, oil cooled Twin Spark, DTS-i FI enginedevelops 20.4 PS of max power and 18.55 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a five-speed gearbox and most of its other mechanicals such as suspension, brakes, and electricals will be the same as earlier.

The current 220F model is available at Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and it is likely to remain unchanged. At present, it rivals the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
