India extended their 100% win record against cricket rivals Pakistan in World Cup as Rohit Sharma’s men registered a comprehensive 7-wicket win over Babar Azam’s XI on Saturday. Put in to bat first, Pakistan were going steady at 155/2 before the visitors had a colossal collapse scripted by a disciplined Indian bowling attack spearheaded by Jasprit Bumrah. The Men in Green were reduced to 168/6 in the blink of an eye before eventually crumbling to 191.
Skipper and opener Rohit Sharma slammed a handsome 86 while Shreyas Iyer’s unbeaten 53 ensured India make it 8-0 in World Cup tally over Pakistan with nearly 20 overs to spare.

Babar and Rizwan had taken Pakistan to 155/2 when the former fell and it triggered a massive collapse. They lost their last eight wickets for the addition of just 36 runs as India sliced through their batting order to leave them in tatters.
